Ladyhawke is a very handsome mare, 15.3 hands and one of the most lovable mares I have owned. She is a full sister to my Blacksaddle Alexis (see the In Memory page), who was a many times champion reining and cutting horse in the open and Morgan shows. Ladyhawke was a gift from Melissa and Steve Cardinal after Alexis was laid to rest. She has never been shown but has been used as a trail and lesson horse. She is one of the first to come meet you when you walk out to the pasture.

Lace was also a gift to me from Mariah Ayers. Lace is a trained cutting horse and was the Champion in youth cutting in 1997 at the first Canadian National Morgan Show. She was ridden by Mariah at that show. Since then Lace had been a family riding horse, being used by all in the family as a favorite trail companion, chasing cows and all other things you use the Morgan for on a ranch. We did show her once in 2008, in a local show. Even though she did not place, she looked good with her 12 yr old green rider, going down the rail never missing a lead or being silly like so many others were.

Lace has never foaled, so when she was given to me the time had come to see what she could produce. She is bred to PT for 2009, and this foal is available in utero for $2000 (with no guarantee of color or sex).

In 2007 I leased Melody from Roberta Zeulner to breed to PT. I had promised a breeding to Ellie Mason so then bred her to PT and sent her to live with Ellie for the duration of pregnancy and weaning. In return Ellie would breed her back to Marvelous Intrigue for 2009. Ellie got her wish when Melody produced a palomino filly. Melody is not a big mare- just a shade under 15 hands- but really shows a lot of her Lippitt breeding on her dam's side. She is also the dam of the first registered silver dapple, Zeulner's Sunka Wakan. She has produced for me in the past when I leased her in 2005 (a palomino colt) and has had several others for Roberta. She is broke to ride, but has not been ridden for several years. She is also for sale with or without her 2009 foal (by Marvelous Intrigue). She is priced at $3500 if bred (for 2010) and $2500 open. Her 2009 foal will be sold separately and is not available in utero.
